Commercial Credit Analyst

The Commercial Credit Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting lenders in underwriting credit extensions to new and existing commercial clients. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform thorough financial analysis, prepare credit approval requests, and ensure compliance with the bank's credit policies and procedures.

• Financial Analysis: Analyze data from financial statements, agency reports, and other sources to evaluate the short and long-term prospects of borrowing accounts.
• Loan Recommendations: Make recommendations to Loan Officers on the granting or denying of loans, and prepare documentation to support these recommendations.
• Trend Identification: Identify and interpret trends in financial data, including key financial ratios such as cash flow to debt service and debt-to-equity.
• Documentation: Provide thorough documentation of financial analysis using spreadsheets and written credit offering memorandums.
• Loan Grade Suggestion: Suggest a loan grade after conducting a thorough credit analysis and documentation review.
• Department Coordination: Coordinate work tasks within the department to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
• Reporting: Provide assigned reports and perform annual reviews of loan relationships.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a bank as a Credit Analyst. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
