Job Title: Power BI Developer

Innova Solutions is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-wide dashboards and reports for executives and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards in Power BI that meet the needs of executives and senior management.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate data from various sources, ensuring accurate and timely data availability across all dashboards.
  • Create and maintain KPIs and metrics that reflect the performance and health of the organization's 20 business units.
  • Ensure that dashboards are user-friendly and provide an intuitive experience for end-users, enabling them to explore data and insights efficiently.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from different business units to understand their reporting needs and translate those into actionable dashboard features.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize dashboard performance, ensuring quick load times and responsiveness.
  • Adhere to data governance standards and ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data presented in the dashboards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the dashboards and interpret the data.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and BI tools, recommending improvements and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
  • Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability of dashboards and reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a large enterprise environment, particularly within a multi-unit organization.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and experience with cloud-based data services.
  • Certification in Power BI or other relevant data visualization tools.
