Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations within the site, including meeting customer satisfaction targets and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness and make recommendations for therapy changes as needed.
- Set and clarify requirements and expectations for employees, measure performance, and provide feedback.
- Educate pharmacy staff on policies, reporting guidelines, and expectations related to best quality practices.
- Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Lean initiatives to enable the site to meet and exceed operating plan targets.
- Manage workflow, escalations, and effectively delegate across the leadership team.
- Stay informed and adhere to local, state, and federal laws related to pharmacy practices.
- Coordinate with the corporate legal team to maintain licensure of the pharmacy and its staff.
- Doctorate or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
- Active/Good Standing Pharmacist license in domicile state.
- 1 year Staff Pharmacist experience within Amazon Pharmacy.
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations surrounding pharmacy practices and patient safety.
- Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize.
- 2+ years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.
- Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
- Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully develop others into higher levels of leadership in an organization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $182,000/year in our highest geographic market.
