We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Therapy Services Team at Kingman Regional Medical Center. As a COTA, you will work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic interventions as directed by the Occupational Therapist
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify interventions as necessary
  • Document the course of patient care, including progress made toward goals
  • Provide patient and/or family education to help achieve goals
  • Assist with orientation of new staff as requested
  • Meet KHI's requirements for skills competency and safety
  • Participate in continuing education/professional development activities
  • Assist with the Occupational Therapy Assistant student program
  • Participate in staff meetings, client relations, and marketing activities
  • Complete billing by the end of each shift, accurately and in accordance with KHI's requirements
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree through an OTA program
  • Current OTA licensure through the Arizona State Board of Occupational Therapy
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Experience working with adult and geriatric populations
