Position Overview

Role Summary:

Educational Requirements:

The CMA/LPN will collaborate with our Musculoskeletal Team, specifically within the Orthopedic and Podiatry Specialties. Your responsibilities will include assisting Registered Nurses, Physicians, and other healthcare providers. You will deliver direct patient care in an outpatient setting, aligning with the mission and objectives of Essentia Health. Competency in performing designated procedures is essential, as you will care for patients across all age groups, from infants to seniors.

Flexible scheduling options are available for this role, with opportunities for hours/week during day shift hours.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota -OR- current certification as a Medical Assistant -OR- completion of a Medical Assistant Program with certification to be obtained within one year of hire (must pass certification within two attempts).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required or must be obtained within three months of employment.

Work Location: Brainerd Clinic

Shift Details: Day Rotation (United States of America)

Shift Timing: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Hours Per Pay Period: 80

Compensation: $29.32 per hour

Union Status:

Full-Time Equivalent: 1

Weekend Requirements: None.
