Dietary Aide

We are seeking a skilled Cook/Dietary Aide to join our team at Avamere Riverpark of Eugene. This role is responsible for assisting in the administration of medication to residents, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals that meet established standards for quality and presentation.
- Assist with the administration of medication to residents as directed by nursing staff.
- Inspect diet trays and work with the facility's dietitian to process diet changes.
- Coordinate food service with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Ensure that food and supplies are readily available for the next meal.
Requirements:
- Must be able to cook from scratch and prepare a variety of foods in large quantities.
- Experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility is preferred.
- Must have a Food Handler's Card and be knowledgeable of food preparation procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
