We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at DRS Naval Power Systems, INC. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for producing high-quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Perform entry-level assembly functions, including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection, typically working from models and/or drawings, within Production.
- Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation, including screws, washers, nuts, and have a basic understanding of build documentation.
- Pull-test and verify tooling, use torque tools, and have the ability to interpret and assemble multiple units in depth.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS).
- High school diploma or GED.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
