Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Analyst to join our team. As a Category Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Category Merchandising & Pricing teams in achieving departmental strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Category Strategies: Provide analysis and insights to support the achievement of departmental strategies and initiatives.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage relationships with vendors to ensure accurate and timely data collection and analysis.
  • Analysis and Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis of categories being evaluated to support the achievement of brand strategies.
  • Shelf Presentation and Assortment: Assist with shelf presentation, assortment decisions, cost negotiations, promotional planning, and product and program development.
  • Deal Validation: Ensure the accuracy and validation of vendor-submitted deals.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
