Job Details

Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. As a critical care professional, you will work under the guidance of qualified medical direction to perform diagnostic testing, therapeutics, and monitoring. Your expertise will be essential in developing patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Perform diagnostic testing, therapeutics, and monitoring under qualified medical direction
  • Develop patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members
  • Participate in research projects and preceptorship for students and new orientees
  • Conduct patient and family education activities

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of critical care experience
  • Graduate of an approved Respiratory Program
  • Completed 62 semester hours of college credit
  • Bachelor's Degree desirable
  • New Jersey Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • PALS and Perinatal/Pediatric Specialty desirable
  • Strong computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Word

Work Environment:

  • Bi-weekly hours: 0
  • Work schedule: Per Diem
