About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist customers in selecting the right products and services, and provide recommendations to meet their needs
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a high level of cash handling and inventory control
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, wholesale and retail partners, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, sales promotions, and company initiatives to drive sales growth and customer engagement
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the store and the company
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 18 years of age; legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally; ability to stand for long periods and move around the store
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred; ability to learn and adapt to new products and processes quickly
