Job Title: Spa Attendant/Housekeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Spa Attendant/Housekeeper to join our team at Woodhouse Spas. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary facility, performing general cleaning and organizational tasks, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations within the location.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all location laundry needs, including sorting, washing, drying, hanging, and folding textile items, and removing stains using the appropriate procedures.
  • Safeguard all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products, ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
  • Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as needed.
  • Vacuum carpets/rugs/window sills and remove trash from bins and containers.
  • Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed.
  • Scrub sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, and toilets in bathrooms/treatment rooms as needed.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed.
  • Keep all public spaces neat and tidy, with consistent walkthroughs of the spa.
  • Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered.
  • Replenish paper towels, toilet tissue, and hand soap in dispensers daily.
  • Ensure glasses, teacups, dishes, and utensils are placed in the dishwasher and washed daily then returned to their appropriate storage area.
  • Remove any plants/flowers from the spa that are not fresh.
  • Empty all waste receptacles and trashcans from the inside of the spa daily, or when necessary to avoid odors from collecting.
  • Keep the trash receptacles clean and fresh.
  • Occasionally sanitize and disinfect.

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry items up to 50lbs.
  • Good physical stamina to walk, bend, carry, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
