Psychiatric Child Nurse Practitioner

The Psychiatric Child Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality professional consultation and inpatient psychiatric services to patients at Upstate University Hospital. This role involves seeing 8-20 children in a focused, rapid rounding model over 4-8 hours every Saturday or Sunday.
Minimum Qualifications:- NYS licensed/registered Psychiatric NP required (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice)
- Master's Degree
- NPI number
- DEA certification
- Medical malpractice insurance
- Medicare enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN)
- Eligibility criteria for NP requires National Certification through AANP or ANCC prior to hire
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Child psychiatric experience preferred
Saturday or Sunday, 4-8 hour shift between 8a-8p, flexible
Compensation:$50 - $75 per hour depending on qualifications
