Role Overview:
The Lead Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, constructing, and enhancing cloud infrastructure to achieve optimal reliability and resilience. This position involves:

Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring in-office attendance 2-3 days per week, based on departmental needs.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 7 years with an Advanced Degree, or 4 years with a PhD, or 13+ years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: 12+ years with a Bachelor's Degree, or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree, or 6+ years with a PhD.
  • Experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar capacity within public cloud environments for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Proficient in cloud services and infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in designing resilient cloud-based solutions and network architectures.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD tools, along with proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
