Job Title: Custodial/Grounds

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodial/Grounds worker to join our team at the Solon Community School District. As a substitute custodian/grounds worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our district buildings, as well as assisting with grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and snow removal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of district buildings
  • Assist with grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and snow removal
  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Working Conditions:

  • Work will be performed in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • May be required to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions

Compensation:

  • $17.08 per hour
