About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Renewables Engineering Market Leader to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our Energy sector, you will be responsible for driving business growth and performance in the renewables engineering market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business growth strategy for the renewables engineering market, focusing on decarbonization opportunities and utility-scale solar energy, wind energy, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
  • Lead a team of engineers and professionals to deliver high-quality projects and services to clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to promote WSP's services and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our services.
Requirements
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in the engineering consulting industry, with a strong focus on renewables energy and infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record of business growth and leadership, with a strong understanding of the renewables engineering market.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
