Banquet Server

At Embassy Suites Birmingham/Hoover, AL, we are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team. As a banquet server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to our guests during events such as weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions.

• Set up banquet tables, chairs, linens, china, and silverware according to the event plan and specifications.
• Greet guests as they arrive and direct them to their seats or tables.
• Take food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen or bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring that all courses are served in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor guest needs and ensure that they are attended to promptly and courteously.
• Remove dishes, glassware, and silverware from tables and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing the banquet room after the event.

To perform this job, you should have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in a banquet or restaurant setting is preferred, but not required.
