Pharmacy Manager Job Description

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to join our team. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct a team of Pharmacy Staff, including staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
  • Manage, oversee, and operate all aspects of the pharmacy, including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
  • Develop and implement patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
  • Lead with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
  • Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities.
  • Identify business opportunities and implement meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance.
  • Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
  • Collaborate with others to deliver better outcomes and align others around purpose.
  • Foster a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
Requirements:
  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization.
  • Pharmacist in charge listing on the pharmacy state license.
  • Submission of required information/documents to your state PMP administrator.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
