The Role: Nursing Assistant 7a-7p PT

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Oswego Health. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients, assist with daily tasks, and work collaboratively with our nursing team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and other daily tasks
  • Report observations and concerns to the nursing team to ensure prompt and effective care
  • Assist with routine duties such as intake and output, vital sign checks, and specimen collection
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; NYS Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull equipment as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $16.17-$17.00 per hour, based on commensurate experience and qualifications.
