Assembly Technician

The Assembler II plays a crucial role in our production process, responsible for assembling various products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs. This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble products by placing parts in specified relationships and fastening them together using bolts, clips, screws, or cement.
- Remove defective products as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Tend to machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line.
- Work at different workstations as production needs require, adapting to changing tasks and models.
- Clean equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
- Up to six months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior carpentry experience is a plus.
- Focus on solving conflicts and remaining open to others' ideas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear communication and active listening.
- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, give and welcome feedback, and contribute to a positive team spirit.
- Quality-focused, with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Adaptable and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
The physical demands of this role include standing, using hands to handle or feel objects, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. Ear protection, eye protection, and other personal protective equipment may be required.
