Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Reservationist to join our team at The Inn at SentryWorld. As the primary point of contact for prospective guests, you will be responsible for ensuring a memorable experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all guest reservation requests, changes, and cancellations.
  • Verify all information upon booking, including guest contact information, special needs, and payment options.
  • Send reservation confirmation and stay information to guests upon booking.
  • Enter and modify group blocks to ensure inventory, dates, cancellation policy, deposit requirements, and booking procedures are accurate in the system.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, SentryWorld amenities, and available guest packages.
  • Respond to and address guest concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track daily, weekly, monthly, and annual statistics to help with budgeting and forecasting for The Inn.
  • Assist in checking in guests upon arrival as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous customer service experience in a hotel setting is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to remain organized and effective while multi-tasking.
  • Ability to follow procedures and specifications.
  • Ability to operate in a professional service environment and respond effectively to customers.
  • Work extended/non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
