Full Stack Developer for IRAP Portal

The Midtown Group is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to support the Operations, maintenance, and enhancement of the IRAP Portal, a custom-built web application built using .Net and React on AWS GovCloud infrastructure.

This is a full-time, contract position that requires a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining custom web applications using .Net, React, HTML, and CSS.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in designing and building secure web applications and microservices, as well as 3 years of experience in SQL and presenting and defending Application Architecture to Architecture Review Boards or similar regulatory bodies.

The Contractor shall deliver the following:

  • Maintain the IRAP Portal webapp by performing necessary software/framework version upgrades, patches etc.
  • Make enhancements to IRAP Portal front end, back end, and associated infrastructure in AWS per user needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for updating the design of IRAP Portal webapp to meet customer needs as well as scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization requirements.

Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining architecture artifacts and system documentation of IRAP, representing IRAP team in Architecture Review Board review sessions, and enhancing the logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities of IRAP Portal.

The ideal candidate will also ensure continuous compliance with FISMA standards to maintain ATO for IRAP and create and implement NIST internal controls for maintaining/renewing ATO for IRAP as well as to increase the sensitivity level of IRAP.

The salary for this position is up to $100K.
