The Role
We are seeking an Industrial Systems Engineer to join our team in a union environment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper and safe operation of all production machine systems. Your duties will include performing corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on production-related equipment, as well as troubleshooting and fixing manufacturing equipment such as wrappers, mixers, motors, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Install control and distribution apparatus, including switches, relays, and circuit-breakers panels
  • Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment condition

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a production manufacturing environment
  • Hourly salary of $39.67/hour
  • Ability to work swing shifts (alternating between 1st, 2nd, & 3rd)
  • Knowledge of conveyor systems, palletizing systems, and furnace or oven operations
  • Degree from a technical school or equivalent educational experience
