We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Paramedics to join our Special Events Team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a Paramedic on our team, you will play a critical role in providing life-saving medical care and support during emergency deployments and special events nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment: Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action, utilizing progressive Paramedic protocols to provide advanced medical care.
- Medical Equipment and Procedures: Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given, and work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
- Scene Management: Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
- Transportation and Logistics: Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
- Event Preparation: Set up and prepare the mobile operations for emergency deployments and special events.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED), current and valid State Paramedic credential, NREMT-Paramedic (preferred), and current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS- Provider), Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS- Provider), Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider (PALS-Provider) (preferred).
- License and Certification: Valid State Driver's License, driving record compliant with company policy, and 911 Emergency Experience (preferred).
