The Medical Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and education
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Nursing required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check
