About the Role

Russell Tree Experts Ltd. is currently hiring a skilled individual to join our team as a Forestry Ground Worker. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for forestry and the outdoors.

This role involves traveling to projects within and outside of Ohio, maintaining worksite safety, participating in daily briefings, and performing manual felling, brush cleanup, and other ground duties as assigned.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Traveling to various project locations
  • Maintaining worksite safety through spotting, flagging, and setting up work zones
  • Participating in daily job briefings
  • Performing manual felling, brush cleanup, and other ground duties

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 1-3 years of experience in forestry or felling
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL privileges preferred)
  • Attention to detail and a genuine interest in forestry
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on safety
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to varying weather conditions
  • The willingness to travel regularly and begin working within 2-3 weeks of offer
