REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR (RN)

Full Time, Evenings

Job Overview:

  • Supervise and direct the nursing staff to ensure the highest quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the supervision of nursing services during shifts, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to nurses during acute episodes.
  • Address employee concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, follow physician orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
  • Ability to supervise nursing staff, ensuring work assignments are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures, and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.
