Pulmonary Care LPN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a member of our pulmonary care unit, you will provide high-quality care to patients with chronic and acute illnesses.

About the Unit:

Burk 1 is a 17-bed long-term care unit where residents permanently reside. Our team is dedicated to providing individualized care to patients with complex needs, including chronic trach patients. Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse on our pulmonary care unit, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. You will attend to the daily operations of the unit, providing high-quality care and assuming leadership responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge and equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
  • License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of specialized equipment, including IV pumps and monitoring systems
