About the Role
">We are seeking a Site Buyer to join our team in one of our Walworth, WI Production Plants.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to not only deploy purchasing strategies but also contribute to the continuous improvement of the purchasing function.
Key Responsibilities
">- Carry out both production and non-production purchasing for the site.
- Collaborate with various departments to prepare RFQ's.
- Interact with suppliers, negotiating prices and deescalating issues.
- Propose solutions to improve productivity of the plant.
Requirements
">- 3+ years in a buyer role, preferably in an automotive or plastics manufacturing environment.
- Experience preparing RFQ's and strong collaboration skills.
- Proven experience with negotiation and cost reduction strategies.
- Experience monitoring purchase prices.
- Ability to ensure regulations are followed properly and documented correctly.
- Ability to adhere to plant safety policies.
- Associate degree in a related field, bachelor's degree is nice to have.
What We Offer
">This is a full-time onsite position with a salary range of $50,000-$60,000 per year, 10 days of PTO, and 10 paid holidays.
