New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranches is a non-profit organization providing residential care, foster placement, and outpatient counseling to families of children placed at The Ranches as well as to families working to avoid out-of-home placement for their teens.
This position is based out of our Belen, NM location. The licensed counselor/therapist will work with adolescents and their families providing individual, family, and group counseling and case management for the foster program.
Responsibilities include providing community education programs, case management to foster families and children in their care, maintaining program files, and learning to perform S.A.F.E home studies and updates.
Qualifications include a Master's level counseling/social work degree, strong oral, written, interviewing, and crisis intervention skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural collaborative team environment.
Preferred qualifications include bilingualism (Spanish/English) and S.A.F.E-trained certification.

Compensation ranges from $42,000 to $56,000 yearly depending on experience.
