Job Summary

The Cremeria Clerk's role is to provide exceptional customer service and support the Cremeria Department by ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and practicing safe food handling procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure cremeria products are sliced and available for customers.
  • Verify product pricing and accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Provide great customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Keep cremeria displays clean and presentable.
  • Store cleaning supplies properly.
  • Advertise department products effectively.
  • Receive, unload, stock, fill, and rotate merchandise efficiently.
  • Verify cases, coolers, and refrigerators temperatures regularly.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a meat department or related field.
Work Environment

The work environment is typical of an office and retail store, with a moderate noise level. The employee is required to sit, stand, and use their hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions, including temperature changes, and may be required to walk and work in Freezer and Refrigerator Cooler as needed throughout the day.
