Dialysis Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team at one of our in-center hemodialysis units. As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatments. Your expertise and compassion will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality outcomes for our patients.

• Prepare dialysis machines and treatment supplies, ensuring quality standards are met
• Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures
• Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families
• Administer and chart prescribed medications
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
• Document required patient education efforts
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance
• Lead a small patient care team
• Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed

• Accredited nursing degree required
• Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated clinical excellence
• Desire to collaborate with care teams
• Ability to problem solve
