Marina Dockhand

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Dock Hand to join our team at Clemson Marina. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

• Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Perform daily opening and closing duties, including grounds maintenance, fuel dock operations, and boat storage management.
• Inspect and report on the condition of our rental fleet, ensuring they are in good working order and meet our high standards.
• Launch and stow storage customers' boats, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Contribute to a healthy, safe, and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist with special events and activities at the marina, providing support and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
• Perform cashiering duties as required, handling transactions and providing excellent customer service.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Line handling skills, including the ability to tie various knots and toss and cleat lines.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and work safely around water or on a ladder.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to use a POS system, PC, and radio.
• Skilled in the use of a golf cart or other motorized vehicle.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend work orders.
• Full weekend availability.
• Valid driver's license, clean background screening, and clean drug test.
