Certified Surgical Professional

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, New Hampshire.
About the Job- The ideal candidate will have experience in general, laparoscopic, and orthopedic surgeries.
- Possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Set up instruments and equipment required for procedures.
- Review upcoming surgical cases and take inventory of supplies.
- Pass surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout operations.
- Take count of all surgical instruments and supplies before and after procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgeries.
- DON and DOFF surgical attire, including sterile gloves, gowns, and masks.
- Clean endoscopy scopes as needed.
- Assist with transferring and positioning patients.
- Participate in stocking and restocking medical/surgical supplies.
- Pull cases for the next day.
- Help clean rooms after surgery.
- May occasionally assist surgeons in other areas of the hospital.
Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:30pm + on Call
Requirements- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working as a surgical technologist.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in general, laparoscopic, and orthopedic surgeries.
- Graduate of an approved operating room (OR) technologist program with certification preferred but willing to hire the right non-certified candidate that becomes certified within one year of hire.
- Able to use Medical technologies, Surgical technology, and has Technical understanding.
- Able to creating a safe, effective environment.
- Can Analyzing information.
- Is able to performing diagnostic procedures.
- Has effective communication skills.
- Great People skills, dependability, quality focus, and planning.
- Must be able to understand written and oral instructions.
- Current Basic Life Support certificate required.
- Required call commitment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Our light call schedule allows for a healthy work-life balance with only one day of call per week and every third weekend.
