Job Summary
Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing preventative and emergency health services to our students. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide preventative and emergency health services to students, including medical, mental health, and dental services.
- Evaluate, determine, and recommend appropriate medical, mental health, and dental services for the student population.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with all HIPAA laws.
- Assist the Wellness Director in coordinating and providing medical, mental, and dental services for students.
- Comply with local and federal guidelines for the administration of all medications and maintenance of medical records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable laws and regulations regarding patient privacy and the maintenance of medical records.
- May assist in conducting cursory medical examinations for students as allowed by state practice law.
- Perform first aid treatment, bedside patient care, and other wellness services as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment within Wellness Services.
- Produce quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner.
- Maintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability, and work productivity standards.
- Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
- Understand and apply job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities.
- Proactively maintain the skills required to perform job duties.
- Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.
- Show respect and courtesy to students and hold them accountable for their actions and behavior.
- Provide quality programs and services for students and ensure that quality is maintained and student needs are met.
- Pursue improvement and enhancement of programs and services.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- LPN Certification from an accredited program and a valid, active, unrestricted in-state license to practice as an LPN required.
- A minimum of one year of health care experience preferred.
- Regional Approval required.
