Job Summary:

Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team in a GMP laboratory setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inventory management, equipment maintenance, and other lab support activities to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory support, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a GMP environment. You will be responsible for performing routine inventory checks, ordering and receiving supplies, and assisting QC associates with testing preparation and setup.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inventory checks and place orders/reservations for laboratory supplies in SAP
  • Order and receive supplies
  • Perform laboratory and equipment cleaning
  • Assist QC associates with testing preparation and setup
  • Compile documents for archiving in document control
  • Sample disposal
  • Perform general laboratory support activities, including equipment maintenance and housekeeping
  • Perform additional laboratory activities as requested
Requirements:
  • HS degree with minimum of 2 years lab support experience in a GMP environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under established guidelines and instructions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Prior inventory management experience
  • Prior experience working in a laboratory setting, GMP preferred
