We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality CT exams using CT equipment and ancillary devices, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain current knowledge in the field by attending workshops and seminars to stay up-to-date with competency and licensure requirements.
- Utilize contrast media safely according to policy and protocol, and reconcile patient medications as required.
- Apply radiation safety concepts to CT imaging and software to reduce patient exposures.
- Complete all PACS/RIS data entry, document history, contrast administration, and patient exposures as required.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) within 90 days.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) within 90 days.
