CAPE Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a part-time CAPE Assistant. In this role, you will provide exceptional child care services to the children of teen parents at the ESC C.A.P.E. Child Care Center.

This is a part-time position that requires up to 5.75 hours of work per day. As a CAPE Assistant, you will be responsible for direct personal care for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years old, assisting with daily activities, and monitoring playtime and learning activities.

• Provide direct personal care for children, including feeding, bathing, and soothing.
• Assist the Child Care Teacher with daily activities, such as preparing meals and snacks, and setting up play areas.
• Support the personal care needs of all children in the center, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Monitor playtime and learning activities, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• You must be physically present in the building during working hours.
