Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing Site Development & Civil team in Manassas, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in site design, roadway, stormwater management, grading, drainage, and utility design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering design and support on a wide variety of utility, commercial, industrial, and institutional development projects for diverse client base.
  • Execute engineering best practices on a wide variety of projects for a wide variety of clients, adapting to new environments quickly.
  • Be involved in all project aspects including design/study development, construction management, project management, RFI's/RFPs/Submittals and client meetings.
  • Prepare sketches, drawings, and specifications for a project from verbal or written instruction.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation and assessment for civil/site infrastructure projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
  • PE is required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • 5-15 years of proven civil engineer experience.
  • Experienced in land development, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater management, and utility design.
  • Extensive experience using computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents.
