Job Title: Sr. MacOS and iOS Developer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

As a seasoned MacOS and iOS developer, you will be responsible for designing and building high-quality Mac desktop applications. Your expertise in iOS programming languages such as Swift and Objective-C will be essential in ensuring scalable and maintainable code. You will work closely with the team to understand and interpret functional requirements, and provide required support to develop the proof of concept. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and implementing application updates, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, and identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks. Your knowledge of Apple's design principles and application interface guidelines will be crucial in creating user-friendly and engaging applications. You will also be responsible for maintaining the code of the application, helping maintain code quality, organization, and automatization, and ensuring that the application meets the required standards.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong technical background in MacOS and iOS development, including programming, architecture, and design. You will need to demonstrate expertise in iOS programming languages such as Swift and Objective-C, and have experience with iOS architecture and design patterns, ensuring scalable and maintainable code. You will also need to show proficiency in iOS code analysis tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues, and exhibit knowledge of iOS accessibility standards and best practices. A proven track record of managing complex iOS projects from inception to completion is also essential.

Experience:

8-10 plus years of experience in MacOS and iOS development is required for this role. You will need to have a strong understanding of iOS development principles, including design patterns, architecture, and testing. Additionally, you will need to have experience with iOS development tools and technologies, such as Xcode, Cocoa, and Core Data. Your experience in working with RESTful APIs, notifications, and unit tests will also be beneficial. A strong understanding of MacOSX extensions and continuous integration is also required. Excellent debugging skills and exposure to tools like Instruments to find memory leaks are essential for this role.
