In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department, assisting the supervising pharmacist with training and development of staff, and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the supervising pharmacist with the training and development of staff
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department
- Ensure consistent application of organizational policies
- Assist in the management of the Pharmacy Inventory and Third Party Receivables
- Assist in the hiring and training of new employees
- Assist the pharmacist in proper inventory management
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED
- AS Degree or Higher Required (Preferred)
- Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (Vermont Employees)
- Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy (Preferred)
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
