Job Summary

ProMedica is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a staff LPN with supervisory responsibilities, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents while also overseeing the work of caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to residents
  • Coordinate care delivery to meet the needs of residents in accordance with professional standards, physician orders, and facility policies
  • Develop and implement care plans that address the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Provide education and training to caregivers on best practices in gerontological nursing
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience in gerontological nursing, including experience with dementia populations
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
