Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in preparing patients for eye exams, administering medications, and assisting with surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform technician-specific eye exam duties to prepare patients for seeing the doctor
  • Administer topical medication to patients
  • Setup, train, and assist with in-office surgical procedures and laser surgery
  • Triage acute patient concerns over the phone
  • Complete patient messages and thorough documentation
Requirements
  • Experience with electronic medical records
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain current knowledge of and use medical terminology
  • Well-organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
