Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radar Systems Engineer to join our team at Chenega MIOS SBU. As a Principal RF Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new subsystems on mono-pulse tracking radars.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute new radar capabilities to meet customer requirements
  • Conduct system modeling and analysis to ensure successful integration of radar systems
  • Assist in project management and coordination to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Recommend approaches to meet customer requirements and provide leadership and guidance to team members
  • Restore operational systems as needed to ensure minimal downtime

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related STEM field
  • 5+ years of experience in radar engineering, including experience with RF, radar tracking systems, and RF amplifiers
  • Knowledge of radar types and antenna tracking systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hardware integration and testing
  • Proficiency in technical writing and documentation
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
