Job Title: Maternal Child Health Nurse Specialist

Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need

Job Duration: 12 months

Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience required

License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)

Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Monitor the health and progress of mothers and infants during labor and delivery
  • Administer medications and interventions as necessary
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • Five or more years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
  • One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years
  • High Risk Obstetrics experience preferred
