Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Omni Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and complete equipment preventative maintenance (PMs) to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Operate and maintain low-pressure boilers for the hot water system, as well as other vessels for hot water, kitchen steam, and air conditioning systems.
  • Assist mechanics and external contractors with repairs of hotel property and equipment, including commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, swimming pool and pool equipment.
  • Complete all assigned work orders and daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Receive direction for house calls via radio and respond promptly to emergencies, including fire alarms and other critical situations.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotels & Resorts' fire alarm procedures, emergency protocols, and hotel rules and regulations.
  • Comply with OSHA rules and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
  • Previous maintenance experience required, with a minimum of two years in hotel and/or commercial building maintenance.
  • One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience is required, with commercial refrigeration experience being a plus.
  • Previous experience with response to emergency situations is required.
  • Good communication, attention to detail, time management, computer, and guest satisfaction skills are essential.
  • The ability to stand/walk for long periods, crawl for short periods, bend, reach overhead, squat, kneel for extended periods, and lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
