Logistics and Delivery Specialist

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

This role involves delivering our largest inventory to customers on semi-trucks or between nurseries. The ideal candidate will be able to attach and detach loaded trailers to the semi-truck, perform minor repairs and maintenance on the truck while out on the road, and ensure the load is secure with proper tie-downs.

The Logistics and Delivery Specialist will also be responsible for:

• Preforming pre and post trip inspections on Company trucks and reporting any mechanical or maintenance issues immediately.
• Checking fluids and adding fuel to vehicles as needed.
• Delivering to customers at business, residential, or construction sites and communicating estimated arrival times throughout the day.
• Exhibiting great customer service and acting in a friendly and courteous manner.

The successful candidate will have a valid Class A driver's license and qualify to be insured by our auto insurance carrier.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid Class A driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 25% of the time and up to 100 pounds 15% of the time (team lift required).
• Frequent twisting, turning, and bending at the waist.
• Constantly working in outdoor weather conditions on uneven ground surfaces.
