Athletic Trainer for El Cajon Valley High School

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with students, teachers, and staff to provide preventative services, evaluation, emergency care, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries.
  • Work independently with students to exchange information related to their care and provide assistance to student athletes.
  • Report to the assigned administrator and maintain open communication to ensure the well-being of students.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Certificate: Must be National Athletic Trainers Association, Board of Certification (NATA BOC) certified and maintain current certification from BOC.
  • Valid certifications provided by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or district-approved provider for Adult/Child CPR and AED.
