Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Primary Care-Outpatient department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to our community. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring optimal outcomes and maximizing available resources.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families, providing education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Maintain clinical skills and competency through ongoing education and clinical practice.
  • Follow Tribal Health and client-specific policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • Experience preferred, with a minimum of 1 year in specialty.
  • Active and unencumbered state licensure.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
Work Environment

Our clinic operates on a 10-hour shift schedule with a 30-minute lunch break. Shift rotation is required, with a mix of day and evening shifts, including Sunday and holiday clinics. The schedule will be maintained and monitored by the Department Nurse Supervisor.
