Position Overview:
As a Mobile Histology Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing histological slides from tissue samples for microscopic evaluation and diagnosis by pathologists. This role requires a strong commitment to quality control and the maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare histologic slides from tissue sections for diagnostic purposes.
2. Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
3. Conduct quality control measures to uphold the integrity of test results.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
5. Perform tests on tissues under the supervision of a pathologist as needed.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in biological health, social science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a clinical histology laboratory.
- Certification as a Histotechnician or Histotechnologist (HTL, ASCP) or eligibility for certification.
- Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in a clinical histology lab and Immunohistochemistry Certification (QIHC, ASCP).

Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate lab results accurately.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with experience in developing reports and databases.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy, and physiology.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented attitude.
