About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Healthcare Provider to join our team at UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.

Job Responsibilities

This position offers a unique opportunity to work with children and their families in a dynamic hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN or other authorized healthcare provider;
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care;
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a diploma in Practical Nursing from an accredited institution;
  • A current New York State Practical Nurse License, Limited Permit, or ability to practice within the 90-day grace period allowed by New York State guidelines;
  • Basic Skills Certifications (CPR);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
